Just wondering

Reta and I took the 85 300 Turbo for a run this morning. She needed to go to Joann Fabrics and while there I thought I would look for some bright orange paint. They did not carry "Testors", the old favorite, so I bought a small jar of "Americana", labeled as Mandarin Orange Acrylic Paint to redo my dash instruments. Then in looking at them, I noticed that the guages on the left side and the tach are a kind of "lemon pie yellow", while the speedo and the clock, (inset with the tach) are quite orange. One would think that after 20 years of ageing, all would be the same color. Or does it indicate that the speedo and clock are replacements. Pretty difficult, but I would think not impossible to change the clock. Any other ideas for a reason that the colors don't match?

Yes, yes

Yes, Tom. I would definetly paint them all. I think that acrylic should stick to it pretty good. I like them all the same color.
