Shut off time
 

All,

Still on my quest to locate my vacuum leak have made considerable progress when I changed out my climate control solenoids and valves assembly. Now the car has been shutting off every time, but a 7 seconde delay from key removal to engine stop remains, it is pretty clear (I think) there is still a small vacuum leak (no it's not the pods). Any ideas as to where look first? had a strange thought last night it may be the ignition shut off valve itself (teh one located on ignition key assembly) any thoughts?

It might be the various checkvalves in the system, thats what happened on our 83, it took longer and longer to shut down till it wouldn't at all, then the check valves were replaced, now it literally turns off AS you finish turning the key! :eek: Faster than most gassers even do!
