Thanks Brian. I'll search when I get the time. Do you use a particular host?

The lights don't bother me too awful much as I run the Td mainly in the summer and rarely after dark. Afraid of those deer ya know. Hit 2 with the pickup this year! Zero damage to the truck so the score is Bill-2 deer -0.

Cheers,

Bill

They were both run over by both wheels and were smashed beyond recognition so no. Hit one 2 years ago....just a slight glancing blow....and that one wound up in the freezer next to the blueberries.

Cheers,

Bill

I rarely need to post anything on the web. The few times that I do run an e-bay auction, I borrow some space from a friend who has a server.

Wait a minute...

Isn't that an 80's speedo? I thought the '79s went to 120mph. Now I'm wondering about the low mileage. Hmmm, speedo swap?

My 79 goes to 120 not 85

For what it's worth, I've been very satisified with a free account from www.imagecave.com. My needs are such that I've never had trouble with the data transfer limits (one gigabyte/month) for such an account.

Seems like that would just help with the 'tenderizing' ?

So does my '79. I thought since this was supposed to be a '79 also, why does the speedo only go to 85? I though the 80's and later had those. That why I wonder if the speedo has been changed out and the mileage isn't right.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. Wonder if its got a paper trail that will prove low milage or if we have to take their word on it.

Carfax will be worthless becasue its older than they will run.....

Why do most of the w116s that I see have collapsed rear seats and front bumpers that look like they are tilted down? That's a nice car though. Look at the undercarriage, those are like centerfold photos.

Thanks eskimo....I'll check it out. I sell quite a bit on ebay though. Don't know how much a gigabyte is but I could use their service for the better items and ebays for the junky stuff...uh, I mean lower priced items.

Was wondering about the speedo myself. Wasn't '83 the first year for the change? Car does look ultra clean and the guy says it belonged to his Granny. At least he left out the part about being driven only on Sundays.

Cheers,

Bill

couldn't possible be an '83 becasue 1980 was the last year for the W116 chassis
