This looks like an $1000 car that needs $5000 worth of work. At least he seems to be honest about the condition. That would be quite a project.

nothing special about the hood.. ("the hood itself is worth $1000).. its just a plain jane 123 hood with the grill frame painted the same color.. as for the grill.. well.. i had back in my sedan...

that isnt a real amg bumper, is it?

i do not remember the ones i have seen being so um... big! are these w126 parts?

sports grilles look like ass.

*ass* especially ones that have been bondoes to the hood and painted over(im assuming, it looks like there are no crevices where it attaches)

i do like the burled trim though, but for 400 bux, ill make it myself.

anyone want my red oak interior trim i just made? im in a burled way now;)

The only comment I will give it that if it gets a coat of paint (bumpers body color), withthe black interior would be sporty I guess although I still would think it's butt ugly. It's an interesting call to counter the jap ricers.

Only thing I want off that, is the center zebrano wood for the climate controls.. I can't find that wood *anywhere*!

Anybody know where I could get that piece? My 84 Euro has all cheap black plastic.. and I'm not a fan of it.

this car is in no way an "AMG". AMG w123's are rarer than w126's and don't have fugly bumpers, grills and sideskirts.
