Thanks alot

Just to clarify............are you interested in the front or the rear of the vehicle..........or both?

Remember this will be an SDL............and will look different than a W123.

Does this mean you did it too? I know exactly what you mean by KNOCKKNEED, looks coltish and awkward and ungainly. I am going to put about 300 pounds of junk in there until they settle out...now I know where to store my extra W123 Block

I highly recommend Coil Spring Specialties, guys. They will make tweaks to one of their springs, taking off an inch or two is no problem if the thing doesn't fit like the customer wants. I bought factory springs once for a W115 car. They were too soft and the car sagged and had a rocking horse effect on acceleration and deceleration.
I bit the bullet and on the advise of someone ordered a set from Coil Springs, the owner asked me all the right questions (was my car too low, how low, told me where to measure it, etc.) and he (Dave, the owner) has MB specifications of factory springs for reference. He wound a set with heavier wire and they were a little high in the rear only, and when I told him that he said no problem return them. They shortened them successfully under warranty. I still drive that car and its less of a rocking horse car than it was originally, I'm a happy camper. 82 300TD Spring Specs.

Brian, can you tell by IP address or other ways if the idiot from post #23 is really somebody else on here?
Are there any limits on forum names that can be chosen? We are getting more like some "other" forums every day........
