Need to rebuild my leveling valve, it works but you have to move the lever over an inch before it responds in either direction. Is the rebuild kit pretty straight forward?

I also found a new one for later models but the part number is different. The part for my 1985 is 123 320 01 58 . Does anyone know if the PIERBURG Part #123 320 02 58 for 87 to 92 wagons will work?
