Have A 91 300d With A 2.5 And I Need To Drain The Fuel Tank.took The Feed Line Off The Middle Of The Tank But Nothing Barely Comes Out.is There A Filter Or Valve There Stopping The Fluid Flow? Does It Work On Vacuum To Get The Fuel Flowing?if So How Can You Drain The Tank Completely? Please Help

Assuming you have the right hose and not the return hose, it sounds like you either have an empty tank or a clogged pickup screen. You can temporarily clear the screen by blowing into the fuel line to the tank.

In my logic, this would blow the offending particales back into the tank... Clearly a very temporary option. Possiably an alge infestation (which is apparetnly a real treat)

I don't know if the 300d is anything like the 300e. But if it is, find the fuel pumps, under a plastic shield that is beneath the rear passenger seat (so as not to confuse you, the pumps are under the car.) You can disconnect the fuel feed before the pumps.

However, you will want to rig up some type of clamp and clamp off the line before disconnecting the hose. I used two short pieces of doweling attached together with elastic on one side and used vice grips for the clamping action. This worked great because as I wanted to increase or decrease flow, all I had to do was turn the screw on the vice grips.
