vacuum line repair

Greetings All,

The door lock vacuum line, on my 83 300D, that goes through the hinge area of the door is broken. What have ya'll used to repair this with or does it have to be replaced? I am getting a Mity Vac to run down a couple of heater issues. Speaking of my heater system, the A/C works, but the heater fan only seems to come on when the car is already pretty warm, such as in the afternoon. The A/C will come on in the morning. Also, the center vents don't work so I am sure I have vacuum leaks, what have ya'll used to repair these lines?

BTW, I did check the forums and did not find a solution.

Thanks,

Wayne

Any autoparts store should have a package of assorted vacum connectors for less than five bucks. They look like short pieced of small-diameter tubing. Make sure you get the right size so you don't end up with a leak. I got a couple of these for installing my boost gauge. It came in handy because i crimped/broke the line while trying to snake it into the cabin.
