I'm making a parts run. What do you need?

I will be going to my "supplier" week after next to pull parts from an '85 300D AND an '84 380SEL. If you are interested in some parts then please let me know. I buy these parts cheap, I mean really cheap, and pass the savings on to you.

I have already pulled some parts off of these cars so email me to see if your desired part is available. Also, let me know what you would be willing to give for your desired part. I will carry my list with me and get the parts.

SEND ALL REQUESTS TO MY EMAIL ADDRESS: dieselsniffer@bellsouth.net

WOW! What a response!

Like I said earlier, I will be going week after next to get these parts. I can bring back engines, transmissions, third members, and such but cannot garrantee these items. THis is a "hobby" . My supplier is located several hours away from me so what I get for parts only covers the fuel expense I incurr transporting these parts from there to here. I have tried in the past and will continue to try and get these parts as inexpensively as I can.

Please keep in mind that the cars that I am stripping are cars that are ready to be "slaughtered" only to come back in some other form like a toaster or lawnmower so many of the delicate parts that may be asked for are in the same shape as what you have. Wood grain, antennas, visors (get a lot of requests for those), are pretty well "worn" but that doesn't mean that all the cars that my supplier gets are that way just most of them. I will try to get the best parts I can and if this run doesn't work out for you this time I will keep you on my list and see what the next crop yields.

I am just trying to help out my fellow MB fanatics. What we do without the combined knowlege found on this forum? I'd be driving a disposable car from Japan.

Great Response!

I am compiling my parts list for those who have requested parts. I will try to bring back what you have requested IF it is available. It is possible that I could come back with everything on the list but it is also possible that I could only come back with a few items from the list. Lots of you are needing the same parts so please understand that it is on a "first come, first serve " basis.

Please keep in mind when you make your request for a part that I DO NOT have these cars right here close by to see if your part is there. I can remember MOST of what is still on the car but will confirm those hard to remember parts once I am at the cars again. The cars are a few hours away from me. Requests for woodgrain parts will have to be confirmed once I see the cars again and then those parts will go to the person who first requested the part if the terms are agreeable. If they decline then I will move down the list.

It's rusted out on the bottom, it's been sitting in a field for a few months now. Some old guy owns it and was driving it when it "dropped a valve" whatever that means. The car seems to be complete but I didn't do a thorough check since I was there to look at another car he had for sale. The guy selling it wants the whole thing gone at once, doesn't want to part it out from his location. It's been for sale for a few months so I bet he's willing to take anything for it at this point.

if you can get any parts from it
i would be interested in the lights and related bits
and the climate control panel bezels (the cup shaped things behind the three knobs that always seem to break) if it has manual climate controls
