Check valve '85 300D
Is there a check valve on the 300D that could be leaking air into my fuel lines? If so, where is it and what does it look like????
I was told these are usually before the primary filter.... Thanks, AA

I can't think of any check valve between the tank and the pump on the side of the engine. I don't think there is a check valve on the fuel supply line.

The only "check valve" type thing would be your lift pump.
Are the bubbles coming into the system before the lift pump or after (its that thing with the primer pump on the side of the IP). |

There is a check valve built into the bolt that the IP is fed by (the block side of the IP)...it has a ball and spring in any case.

If that is the case (getting new ones) then you have a pre-filter air leak. Check out the lines under the car and the ones that hook to the tank |

"Before....because they are entering my primary fuel filter..."
Are you talking about the air in your clear (primary) filter?? If so, thats normal.
