you didnt say

if it was black like engine oil or reddish like tranny fluid did you?

hope it is tranny 'cause its a lot cheaper to replace than the rear main. if it isnt one of the other more simple engine things.

also if the oil is old it will run out more, maybe.

Had the 300SD up to 5500RPM today in 2nd gear...at about 5450 up it blows a jet black cloud on the back (it usually just wiffs). Made me feel like a psydo superturbo I have to take a video of the RPM for Brian.
