I think I'll go. Nothing wrong so I'll just fake it.

Cheers,

Bill

i love the last

comment. i think i will get one for mine too. one of the traditional ones with the peaked cap. like lucy wore when she was faking being a nurse. the modern scrub look doesnt compare. i think i will get her some of those old hose that have the black seam up the back and take the garter belt too!

Listen to and act upon solid advice from others who have suffered...
Every moment you wait is good for the OTHER team.
They may even try to claim any injury found now is from some other source = FRAUD, SCAM, etc.
They LOVE people like you, who choose to delay, only you will suffer.

WARNING:
Do not put your family in an awkward position = brother/doctor dragged into court.

Go to the ER...

Dude...I was 24 when a guy backed me at just 10mph on ice, saw it coming in the rearview in slo-mo and tensed up also, blew it off because I was tough and had no pain, took 3 days to hurt then was a swivel-hip for 3 weeks...16 years later and neck muscles still get knotted-up. Listen to your Mom, and all the other "mothers" out here, play it safe, get it checked and you'll be glad you did when your 40...40?...uggh
Your car can be fixed but it'll never be "right" plus you won't know what else got shocked in the Earth-shattering ka-boom until later...especially the finnicky electrics and you might be chasing gremlins forever. My car, at 18....I'd probably fix her, at 17 I had to save my first love...too damn painful picturing your baby in the crusher... but just be ready for a few headaches. Best of luck man and Check your neck!!!

In January 2001 a women in a mustang turned in front of me at an intersection.

She had no insurance. I figured I was SOL with my hand wedged into the steering wheel, it moved all the bones in my hand to the far left of where they should have been. That really hurts.
Also my car was totaled.(The E.R. visit was automatic via the local emergency responders.)

TO BE SURE THAT I HAD ALL THE BASES COVERED I SPOKE TO AN ATTORNEY.

Fast forward to June 2005.

My insurance company settled with me (No Fault Ins. in Michigan.)
$62,500.00. Ins. Co. paid all medical and rehab bills, will be responsible for any future health problems related to said accident.

Seth................you gotta ask yerself........"What's in your wallet lad?"

Ok its been a while but I've finally got an update. The insurance adjuster came out to my house today and she did indeed declare the car a total loss. $3859.20 for repairs plus whatever damage she couldn't see and she valued my car at $3600. She told me that she has to double check the figures but I'm going to try to buy the car. My brother is selling his '84 300D with about as many miles with a rebuilt tranny and a quicker motor with the veggie conversion kit on it for $3000. I'm going to pay off the remaining $700ish on the totaled car and take out a loan for whatever else I owe my brother so I might actually end up a little ahead.

salvage value

is generally ten cents on the dollar. so if she values the car at 3600 you should be able to buy it back for 360. so you get a check for 3240 and the car.

good luck
