German cars woews

Since this October it never stops !

1- I have a flat on my Jetta, and stupid me I lost my mag lock key and my turner bolt and my flat is 175 km form my house... took 4 days to find the right lock key and turner bolt.

2- My Panzer broke its crossover for some odd reasons!! had to call the scrap yeard (dealer wanted 370$ for a piece of metal), took 5 days find/repair/weld what it was broken because the crossover was f@##$ed.

3- My fault again i had trouble with my MB lighting system (bad welding and i played with the headlamp when i changed my hood lock)

4-Today at -15C my Jetta window just falls into the door panel... for teh second time this since i have the car.... dealer said that is in waranty and i will have it today..will see on that..

who cursed me ?
and why is he palying vodoo with my cars

nhopefully this is the last bad luck

I already feel better for sharing this with you guys!

I cannot tell you how many people I know whom own late model VW's that have experienced the same window problem. Just last week i went on a trip with some friends, we were in a 2002 Passat GLX Wagon, and I was the lucky one to sit by the window that likes to fall down. I spent roughly 240 miles holding the window shut!

Hope u have better luck with your cars!

LOL ! I feel for ya !

As an Ex- Yankee (born & Bred) I've had this problem on old rustbuckets when I was young ~ a full book of paper matches carefully jambed in the lower window sash will usually hold it up.......

bastards

They have a hidden waranty they didn't ask questions for my window and they took the car right away..
I guess they know something's wrong with that part
Mind you this is the second time it happens

Also, the window doesn't go all the way down now, so you can't really place your arm on the sill w/o discomfort.

Same stealership that scraped up my bumper when I brought it in for the brake light recall. I got a free wheel alignment out of it, didn't feel like having those bastards painting my car.

man if a dealer will do that to me especialy if i had a luxury car as Passat is I would talk to the manager and VW of America

I'm surprise in a very good way with the service I'm having, they are reparing my window same day 0$ charge and they are doing my brake recall.(they just called to confirm that the car will be ready today 0$ ..)

I was expecting to go to war to get them to do it today and then to go again at war for not paying

The way it should be if you are dropping hard cash on a new car.

It costs you enough, you get screwed hard enough, why not get good treatment from the dealerships?

Disgusting though...the place that is supposed to be the "best" people to work on your car are actually one of the worst...(in some cases)

No hands other than my own have touched my cars since I got them

Yeah that sounds about right for a couple of German cars!

Why bother with the wheel locks? No one steals them unless you have a $5k+ set of wheels on the car. My friends sister has one on her Acura for the OE wheels. They are not worth anything and it is a royal pita.

Ok I am spoiled, I don't lock my cars half the time. Even in New Haven I never really felt the need for wheel locks.

A couple of years ago, my wife's Nissan Maxima had all four wheels stolen one night right in our driveway. They jacked up the car, removed the wheels on one side, blocked it up with big rocks, jacked up the other side, took the wheels and left their jack behind. My doberman slept through the whole thing in our bedroom--not a peep! Maybe she'll be more protective of a fellow german (the SDL) than a japanese

Leave some raw meat in the car he'll be more protective

I have a beagle who's pretty much worthless for protection, he just barks/hollor for no reason
