AC Servo Bypass Question?

I am planning on bypassing my AC Servo sometime soon. Is it possible to be able to adjust it from the engine compartment so that it's not full blast heat, if so, what would be the proper valve to use?

One rated to 130*C I expect.

How about a cable operated valve from a 240D?

Mercedes Source has a kit for $90 that always to turn it on and off from inside the vehicle, but I am thinking I can pick up some parts at Lowe's for less than $10, but It would mean I can't control it from inside. However, in the winter, I figure I can set the heat where I can it, and it won't bother me as long as it's not too hot...

So does anyone have any suggestions on how to bypass the AC servo for super cheap? Everytime I think I have the right combination for parts, the plumbing specialist at Lowe's tells me that one of the parts won't hold up to the heat

I got everything bypassed now, and it has heat now, and I can shut it off when it gets too hot. I had the hardest time finding one barb fitting, so I had to go to a specialty plumbing shop, I think I spent about $20 for all the fittings, hose and valve...

Would anyone be interested in buying a bypass kit if I was to put one together? If there's enough interest I might put one together...

Not sure what I would price them at yet, but will definatly be half or more than what **************.com wants for theirs. The only down side is that the heat can only be adjusted from the engine compartment, and only works on defrost...but again, I am not sure I will be putting any kits together, unless there is enough interest...
