I hate it when people take good cars and destroy them making hot rods. But that vehicle is a good canidate and I would think it would make a sweet Woodward cruiser.

IMHO, that car still has too many useable original parts to be hacked up as a hot rod. It could still be useful as part of a restoration project. The only "good candidate" for a hot rod is a car that's about to be crushed anyway.

Did the cloth top slide back on those cross rods? I'm assuming so.

Cheers,

well, if it were my choice I'd rather take this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1937-Mercedes-Benz-540-K-Kompressor-540K-Cabriolet-B_W0QQitemZ4591729340QQcategoryZ6315QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Also a '37 but with somewhat less rust

WOW......now thats a great looking car.

And did you notice the agent for the seller, a high end classic car dealer, has over 300 feedbacks with 100%? Find another used car salesman on ebay with that perfect rating.

Thanks for bringing that car to our attention.

Cheers,

Bill
