RUG's 1.88 and the day before my wreck, I filled up with diesel at 2.22. I was thrilled. This was at a truck stop off of I-40 east of OKC. The highest I've seen it is 2.39 at the store where I work.

The $2.20's are spreading. It went from 2.39 to 2.25 at the store by my work. The cheapest I've seen is still the 2.22 when I filled up.

drove the sdl

to ohio and back over friday-sunday. filled up in eastern indiana at loves truck stop. 2.369 diesel. driving 80ish only got 21, but at fillup the car was tipped toward the drivers side so i may have been able to get extra in.

so winter fuel actually gives less mileage, eh? i always just guessed thicker oil and more idling was the trouble.

Getting Cheaper every trip

Coming from North Carolina on I-95 heading South... the infamous El Cheapo station offering diesel for $2.19 per gallon. And immediately crossing into Florida it was 2.37pg. That one station is notorious for cheap diesel and it is good fuel...

Currently Unleaded reg is 189.9 and #2 is 223.9 at good old Wally World (Murphy Oil), NE Okla.

Tom, I have also noticed that if the car is tipped toward the drivers side at fillup I can get 2 or 3 extra gallons in. However lately that does not appear to be a good idea, as some sloshes out into the area around the filler cap.

Thumbs up

RUG is 1.99 @ the Pilot Truck stop @ Baker Rd and I-94. #2 is currently $2.53 there. I usually drive down to Wackers in Manchester and fill up because they're usually about 5-7 cents less than that, plus they also carry B20 and B99.

it was just

the slab there. i wouldnt do it on purpose. i try to fill it in the same position if possible so i get accurate use readings. i didnt notice any spillage but as soon as it was filled i hit the interstate for two hours.

that sdl is a sweet road car. its just sweet all the way around too.

Thumbs down

RUG 2.09 at Wacker. #2 was 2.55 and B20 was $2.58. It appears as though they stop selling B99 for the winter?

Guess I shoulda just filled up at the Pilot instead! Oh well...

I wished Norman's Walmart sold diesel. They're almost always a few cents cheaper than the cheapest station and if you go inside and put $20.00 on a gift card, that's an extra $0.03 off. I think there's only one or two stations in the whole town that sell diesel and its not a small town either. I live out by Lake Thunderbird and everywhere out here has diesel and both are usually cheaper than in town.
