dash removal
I havent tackled this job before, but I'm wondering if having the windsheild out would make it any easier? Most of these old cars need new windsheild gaskets anyway.

I have never done this job before, but several here have, including boostnbenz that has it on his website and dmorrison that has it posted here. It sounds like from reading posts above, that having the windshield out will eliminate clearance issues when removing and installing the dash.

Having the windshield out won't make the job any differnt. It will help when putting the dash in. But sliding the front dash lip under the weather strip was easy with a putty knife.
Here is the entire job, plus some. http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W123Evaporator Dave
