Does anyone have one they might want to sell? I'm talking about the gear for the mechanical speedo head('85 D)- the longer white gear with the perpendicular pinion at one end, and the parallel worm drive at the other end driving the brass gear that drives the odo? I took my cluster apart thinking I was finally going to fix the odo but this gear is chewed up and there just ain't no fixing it until I can come up with another worm gear.
The site www.odometergears.com doesn't seem to have this particular gear listed, only pinions. Thanks to any that can help. Also, I took my mirror switch apart thinking I was going to fix it, and didn't pay attention to how it was put together. There are little copper dogbones seated on springs inside that sucker and there are four spots for 'em, but only three sets of dogbones. So it's anybody's guess which slots they go in. Apparently I put the switch back together wrong, now it blows the fuse when plugged up. So, anybody have a switch to sell? Thanks again.

You could have missed it. I bought all the gears to repair my odometer from that site. Try giving the guy a call on the phone.
