[QUOTE=braverichard]It was bought by Don (username: Oilbrnr), a brand new user who just rolled onto the board. He is a diesel guy and can do lots of wrenching, thereby making him a perfect candidate for the car. [/QUO

Glad you sold it to one of the faithful. I would have liked to have bought it if my situation was different. Looks like a great car!

Now, the S350. Is it henceforth to be awakened, with a new engine? With a GM 502 Crate Motor or a New Generation HEMI? They are KIN, these days. HA HA! Good Luck with it, I really do wish you success.

I still am in my quest for a V12 locally; also trying to find my MERLIN, whose magic will keep it alive and me with some coins left in my pocket.

Hey man,

You damn right the S350 will be awakened. That was one of my main motivations for selling this 300SD. I have an excellent diesel car that's dead and I need to do something about it. The funds from the sale of the 300SD will go strictly to that project. It should be up and running before the summer. I have many road trips to make this summer (including rolling to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas) and I want to be driving it on those trips.

Thanks! Should be an interesting road trip. Haven't been through Tantilizing Texas and Orgasmic Oklahoma in the winter before. Doubt I've missed much!

My luck, it will dump snow in Northern AZ! Of course, Richard said these 300SDs are like H1s in the snow... one of his selling points.
