Has anyone had experience replacing the heater core on an 85 300SD? I have the Mercedes CD manual, but all it says in step 1 is "remove heater, section 83-100", but there is no section 83-100 in my manual. so if anyone could provide some advise or provide a copy of the removal instructions, I would be indebted.

I recently followed LarryBible's method of fixing the heater core and it seems to have worked great. It's definitely easier than pulling the whole dash apart. I see you're new to this forum so I'll be the first one to tell you that it's a good idea to do a search first as more likely than not your questions have already been answered.
