Trans modulator adjustment - CW or CCW?

I want to SOFTEN the shifts a bit. When I look through the archives, it seems that half the posts say to turn the "T" adjustment CW and half say CCW. Which is it???

I followed intructions from this site, and it worked for me.
CW=Harden shift.
CCW=Soften shift.

CCW = Soften
CW = Harden

I just did this myself last week and went clockwise for slightly harder shifts.

I was under the car replacing the neutral saftey switch and I saw a green pod like that with a vacum hose coming off of it. This was on the driver's side. Is that the modulator?
