My tach is broken and so I read up on the quick and dirty fix, which is to simply remove the amplifier from the driver's side wheel well, give it some love and then put it back in.

BUT to my suprise and after searching for the thing for a while I have determined that the tach amp is GONE. Strange? Yea tell me about it. But when I unscrew the cap all there is are some contacts and there isn't a cylinder sort of thing that everyone is talking about. So I am assuming that it was removed for some reason and not replaced.

Does anyone know the part number for a tach amp? I have searched on the internet for about an hour now and can't seem to find it. Help would be appreciated!
