machine shop needed quickly
after having 2 glow plugs replaced two weeks later another one burnt out. pulling 3 of 4 glow plugs out of a 95 E300D the #5 broke. I have tried to use ez outs and bent and mangled two of them. it seems the next step is to remove the head and have it taken to a machine shop and removed. any suggestions on how long it takes to remove a head , how much it costs and a machine shop located in NJ. I need this done soon, the 30 mpg is missed from this car. any help will be greatly appreciated.

MB Dealers are supposed to have a special tool, and a procedure developed for just such a problem.
Check with your MB dealer. It may be cheaper than removing the head.
