300D for christmas!

I got an 81 300D a while back as a parts car for free. I haven't touched it yet. So it’s still a good car... if it would run. It ran when it was parked like 7 years ago. I started to work on it with a friend who wanted it; we started to bleed the injectors and then stopped, because he lost interest. But today my sister got in a car accident. And I talked to my dad, I think we are going to clean up the 300D and give it to my sister. She was driving a Saturn... its not totally demolished, but it’s going to need a trip to the body shop all for a small accident.

The problem with that 300D is that I couldn't get the injectors to bleed. The pump was pumping fuel, but not out of the injector line. It was coming out of the return line. The one that jumps from injector to injector. I think I need to primp the pump? I’m hoping that the seals in the injector pump aren't bad.

What do you think the problem is?

Thanks
Nik

Where are you?

Where are you?
It is very possible that a forum member is near you, and could drop by to assist.

Bleeding injectors:
All injector bypass lines/injector lines must be on and sealed.
Loosen only one nut at a time.

The starter must turn the engine at very high speed for any hope of starting.
