OM606 injector socket
 

I'm in the process of removing the injectors from my 96 E300D but I found out that my deep 27 mm socket that I used on all my other diesels doesn't fit in the injector holes. The next smaller socket that I have is a 22 mm but that one seems too small. Does anyone know what kind of socket I need?

unfortunately, you need a special deep socket from the dealer...runs about 30 bucks. its a must needed tool for do it yourselfers.
