Brake Sensor Wires?

Does anyone know if the brake sensor wires, not the sensors but the wire to the caliper, can be replaced?

When I replaced the lower control arm bushings, both sides broke off at the caliper while I was working. In both instances, I took the precaution of tie-wrapping the caliper to the sway bar and the tie wrap broke!

I haven't traced the wires down to see where the other ends connect.

Yes, the brake pad wear sensors. I know that it won't hurt anything to secure them out of the way but wanted to look into what/if replacement can be done. If nothing else, I can splice and RTV.

the sensors are real cheap....only a couple bucks....why not replace them....if you are talking the harness part the sensor plugs into that should be replacible too.

The wire harness can be replaced. Probably a Dealer item only. Call Phil at Fastlane to see if he can get one for you. Or you can splice a new wire into the harness.
