Swapping seat question for 123

Are the passenger and driver's seat bottoms interchangeable? The car is a 1985 300 turbodiesel.

Yes....but you gota swap the seat frames and keep the rails on the original sides. It takes me a couple hours maybe longer but I'm slow. A GOOD long philips bit for the screw gun helps and have them side by side on the work bench.

Worked for me...

I replaced my worn out driver's seat with a newer passenger's seat, rails and all. I suppose if you wanted to get really fancy, you could swap the rails, and even swap the adjusting knob to the opposite side, but neither are absolutely necessary to get the seat to bolt down on the driver's side.
