1978 300CD Vacuum Diagrams ?

Hi ;

I've searched the archives (nothing) and looked at all the links (broken plus _NO_ early diagrams) , I need the cabin vacuum diagrams for my 1978 Coupe please......

Any help will be greatly apreciated as I'm tyrying to trouble shoot why _nothing_ vacuum works and no vacuum inside the car although the pump is pulling 21".....

THANX !

This topic is _NOT_ going to go away !

Since no one seems to have any acess to vacuum diagrams , how about somthing telling me what color plastic tubes are what and where the tubes from the driver's side door go ? I don't want to rip the whole interior apart but I'm not getting any vacuum to the driver's door at all....

THANX ! .

Try looking through the shop manuals at this site.
http://mb.braingears.com/
If that doesn't work I have the paper shop manuals and I may I have the diagrams you are looking for. I could possibly scan them and send them to you.

I _did_ look in the sticky before making this post and I mentioned that ~ the links to ' UltimateHost ' are all broken and those are the only ones of the cabin vacuum diagrams ~

Specifically I am looking for 123.153 cabin or whole car diagrams as it's a wee different than sedans .

TIA ,

Sorry, I didn't read into your post that you couldn't use the vacuum diagram provided. I wasn't having any problems with them. Good luck with trying to find exactly what you want.

I just troubleshot the vacuum in my CD and found everything working OK except the vacuum elements in the seats which was a silly design idea to begin with..I don't know if you have these seat elements but as soon as I closed them off my vacuum system started working just fine..Just a suggestion...

Thanx , I plan to cap them off anyway , I bet they only had the seatback locks due to Federal regs..

The problem with the links is this : THEY DON'T WORK ! .

As of now , I have 21" of vacuum under the hood (that's really good) but _nothing_ at the master valve in the driver's door ~ 'd like to know where to begin looking rather than blindly rip the dash and floors all apart....

I know other have done this , trying to get info or help is like pullng teeth for some odd reason .
