86 300 sdl blower motor where abouts ?

-- this car has 246, 000 miles on it and the blower motor is working very sporadically - makes this clicking noise - blows like hell and then shuts off - i feel like the motor is on the way out - could it be the regulator tho' ? is the blower motor located in the same place as the 123 series diesels - under dash on pass. side ?
