nah dont get a powersmoke get a real diesel truck, a dodge cummins. Im trying to find a chevy luv with the isuzu pup diesel engine in it but they are really rare i want one of those little trucks to pick up my oil because im always scared one of the containers are going to leak oil all over the interior of my mercedes. And i dont mind the bed of the chevy luv getting full of oil because it will just be a beater truck.

This is the same setup I have, beater for the oil when I can so I don't have to dirty up the Benz. You should see my beater. Its an '82ish Datsun diesel king cab, like the one that was on "Dirty Jobs" on the Discovery Channel if anyone watched that last night. The difference is mine is part crap brown and part faded blue. My brother bought the truck to experiment with bio and when he moved up to his Mercedes, he gave it to my dad. My dad bought another one just like it but it had a non-running gasser motor in it. The parts truck is blue and he's replaced about half of the body pannels so its checkered. I really need to take a picture of it. My brother cristened it "The Nipple Hardener" because he thought it was the best truck he'd ever owned.

i was looking for one of those trucks too but i like the isuzu motors a little better then the nissan diesels. I saw the one on dirty jobs with that bio-d guy and he had a pretty nice truck. but i like the chevy luv because later on ill upgrade the truck and paint it ferrari red with the iroc 17in chrome wheels that the neighbors put on their chevy S-10's and then ill get it sprayed with rhino liner in the back and it will still be my oil carrier.

Very nice. I'd just be happy if mine was the same color!!! My step-dad really has done a lot for it. Oddly enough it had been sitting right across the street for 13 years and a few days after my brother decided to get into the bio game, he realized he'd been driving past it almost every day for 13 years! It was a really lucky find. The seats were rats' nests and it hadn't been started in ages. He checked/changed the important fluids and we pushed it down the hill in front of our house, popped the clutch, and it actually fired! I have the video somewhere. Wait! I forgot my brother made a website a long time ago. Here's the website
Click on the "Click here for the truck video". Its really neat. Man my voice sure did sound creepy though. lol.

Huh. I've never seen a truck like that before. That does look like exactly what I'd love to have. Its a truck so you can haul stuff but not like a regular-sized one which would be too impractical for my uses. I agree on the price, too steep for me too. It does look nice though.

Wow!

I have an Isuzu diesel pickup like that. I had no idea they might be worth that much. That is about what I paid for it 12 years ago.

Mine is an 86 turbodiesel, so it has a hood scoop (rare). Also has a shell like the red one.

Exactly. Biodiesel, WVO, SVO are all great ideas, but what people don't realize is that if everyone in the country wanted to use these as fuels, there'd be a shortage just as there is with fossil fuels. Only so much of it can be produced (although the fact that it IS renewable certainly is a step ahead). And if enough people demand it, someone is going to figure out a way to make a fortune off of it. That's just how capitalism works. Personally, I love capitalism, and stock-wise I see a lot of potential in alt. energy and the companies that are exploring it. But I could see where some of the original biodieselers and WVOers would be POed if big business came in and made it hard (and/or expensive) to do what you do.

What do I know, I still use stinky, pollutin', regular ol' diesel.
