The SDL is getting its sunroof fixed and the wood redone. Along with a bunch of other new interior parts like door handles and little trim peaces. I think I'll install the new Omega bazooka tube as well.

The SD got its present already I washed and waxed it tuesday. I think I may buy a couple gallons of Delo and do an oil change as well.

This Christmas....

Sybill, the car of many personalities, is getting ball joints, UCAs, LCA bushings, track rod mounts (both ends), new front shocks and, as soon as that's all done, a new a/c compresor and whatever else it takes to get the HVAC system going.

Lilly is getting an OEM hood pad and a set of Bilstein heavy duties for the back.

Marlene is getting to pull another trailer load to the farm.

Nellybell will get an oil change, a speedo (cable ) and a new fan control switch.

I think the SD is getting shocks all around.

She was a bad girl and ate her voltage regulator and I had a 200mile trip I just came home from operating on not much voltage. Turn signals barely worked GLad it was daytime!

I already put a new one in (lots of fighting with it).

I am thinking of fitting my intercooler as I have a few more weeks without school in which I can play with it but I need to learn to TIG first

I know it sure needs a good cleaning under there *yuck*

Sidenote: Was following a late 90's ford probe (or some lookalike) down the freeway on this trip doing about 95-105 for about 10miles and after awhile the car I was following starting having issues. The tailights flickered a few times and the car sorta coasted off to the side of the road. I just sorta chuckled and continued on.

Thumbs up

Karl is going to get that new vac pump put in here before the new year... provided I don't get bent on the new gasket. Did get motor mounts about two weeks back. Fan clutch and shocks to come shorty!

Klaus on the other hand, is going to go for a jaunt to the liquor store later tonight for some more rum (Egg Nog!) after a Monovalve renewal. I did replace his air cleaner mounts, oil change last week, new PS return line (pump still leaks ), and a new air filter.

Looks like she's wanting a new neutral safety switch and won't quit bugging me(or run at all) until she gets it. Lucky for her I love her to death and give her whatever she wants. I suprised her two days ago with eight quarts of Mobil 1 and a new filter. What can I say, I'm a romantic.

The 300D has already gotten a Euro trunk mounted warning triangle, sheepskin seat covers arrived today, and will be receiving a respray of the grille in black for New Year's.

respray the grille black huh ? I am very curious about this - is that all you are painting ?

(I've been looking for some nice/conservative color changes for my 240D...)

Ahh, a good high dollar wash at the local car wash with all the add-ons, and a good interior cleaning. Then park her for a week or so and drive the 250 while I'm working on more carb adjustments.

The 300D is getting chrome door lock pins, and a full detail in & out then taken on a trip to Sonora Ca to visit the in-laws.

The C280 is getting a replacement wheel for one that had a bad meeting with a curb. It has the OE 15" AMG wheels that are a SOB to find... luckily I found 3 and got a great deal on em... $75 bucks for 2 from Potomac German Auto, and 1 that is a never used spare.. like new for $95.00. I figured I may as well buy the 3 of them since they were cheap considering used examples typically run $125-150 bucks ea., and new ones from the dealer run $600+. So if I need to replace another im set. In the meantime I'll clean 2 of them up and store em on a rack in the garage... decoration.

The 3.0 is getting nothing. Just peaceful dry sleep in the garage.
