adding electrical gauges/instruments to 93 300D

I have a 93 300D and will be installing WVO kit (greasel "veg wedge" with my own modifications for extra heat and faster switchovers).

1 - what fuse/wire has an extra 5 amps that I can tap into for the electric filter heater located in the trunk? where is this wire and how do I get to it? I was hoping that there might already be one leading to the trunk because the factory radio has the capacity for a CD changer in the trunk (but there is no CD changer in the trunk).

2 - what would be a good electrical circuit for running a temp gauge and fuel switches from under the hood to the ashtray (or under dash mount?) - any suggestions would be really greatly appreciated.

Thank you mucho.
