Yeah my cover is missing too, the 83's is there but in shards.....so far it has not affected performance.....

I remember my cover fell off, in the driveway luckily. I had it replaced, cheap part from the dealer. You know, if you leave it off too long, dirt will damage things in there. Definately NOT good.
