Free seat frame and horsehair pad...

Yesterday I finished up replacing my driver's seat frame and pad.
Very satisfying, as the ride is about an inch higher and much firmer.
I knew it would be better as I had a heck of a time compressing the seat to get the seat back reinstalled.
downside? At 6'5", I now have to adjust the seat down all the way at the back and recline a little to keep my head off the head liner. And I like to sit up over the wheel like a bus driver...
I'll get over it...Maybe a few Krispy Kremes to help the compression?

Anyway, I have the old frame and pad, and will send them gratis to anyone who would pay the shipping.
The seat frame is not broken anywhere, just tired and sags and might be OK for someone who doesn't weigh 250 and who needs a cheap fix to a broken seat.
The pad is in pretty good shape.

I have gotten a LOT of help through this site, lurking, searching, and asking a couple of questions, and appreciate it greatly.

How NOT to buy a MB Diesel:
Know little or nothing about diesels or Mercedes Benz.
Get the WVO fever.
Drive 70 miles to a used car lot in the country.
Buy the car without having it inspected, because it seems like a good idea at the time....
I'll be back. I'm gonna need help.
I love this car already!
