81 300D Vacuum Help!

I've searched. And searched, and searched.

There are diagrams and pics for other models, there are some diagrams specifically for the '81, but most are lo-resolution so you can't read the keys . . . and others just don't have keys. I'm trying to figure out the proper vacuum line routing for this car and I just can't get it.

I found Larry's suggestion that the diagram would be on the support above the driver's side headlight, mine doesn't have that intact. I've compared images of 240's of the same year, later models of 300D (all of which are turbo so are significantly different). The '81 is a strange bird with no bowden cable, my trans is controlled completely by the vacuum I can't seem to get right!

I'm hoping someone iin the forum has a picture of an '81 specifically, or a diagram that is readable . . . anybody?

Thanks!

Eric

Try looking in the shop manuals on this site. They have pretty good photos of the vac system.

Thanks . . . but?

Is this site working for you? I get to the point where it should be loading the PDFs and the files aren't found . . . its a big menu with no actual info . . . or have I missed something?

Yeah I had the same problem, but I have a Mac and wasn't sure if that was causing the problem. This one will work, or atleast it did for me.
