Thumbs up Over 20000 miles in one year!

Well I did it, I put over 20000 (twenty thousand) miles on my SD in just under one year! I purchased it at 209980 miles in early January and now have 230000 and some change. It's come a long way in that time too, hoses, belts, trans service, interior parts, valve adjustment, etc, etc.

Here's to the next 20K!

Thumbs up

I have to rebuild the suspension from the trans back this year, I looked and it's pretty rotted out. I'll do the tierods, drag link, and steering dampner similar time.

I've had my '95 for two months and I now have 6k miles on it - shooting for at least 40k this year.

I've done 25,000 miles over the last year, which even surprised me after I calculated the numbers. Touching wood while I say this, but the only breakdown (as in "Hello Auto-Club?" ) in the 17 months that I've owned the SDL was a fried Starter Motor.
Lots of 'Preventative Maintenance' though and I haven't yet summoned the courage to add up all those bills

I've done just about 150K in about 4-1/2 years on my 300D, so I guess I'm averaging about 30-35K per year.

I think I am averaging around 14-17k a year.....this year had almost 4,000 miles of trips during the summer, to washington dc, and to oshkosh, wi (all the way around lake mi) Never had a single problem. It rocks.

30k last year in my 300SD...

And it would have been more had I not changed my school schedule (like I am unable to do this term).

300k here I come. (should be sometime feb/march or so)

Wow 300k....and here I am shooting for 250k on mine.....wshew. Mine only had 207,128 on it when I got it though, it was a youngin'

Our 83 could hit 300k by sometime next year if we get it back on the road soon and he drives it a lot....he averages nearly 400-500 miles a week most of the time, and sometimes as many as 700+
