Water Pump

When changing the water pump do I have to drain the coolant from the radiator?

You don't have to drain it all....but when you remove the pump a bunch will pour out of there from the engine etc.... It will pour out regardless of the radiator being emptied, so when I did it I just left the radiator alone and then poured in some more into the expansion tank when I was done....all worked well.
