That's just the exterior stuff, I'm not even going to list the defacing you can't see (after-market air cleaners, weird VWO conversions, etc.)
I can add number 21.

21. SEC style sport grilles on sedans.

Sorry guys, just my opinions.

I really don't feel to bad about changes that are reversible (tires, wheels, radios, etc), but I really hate it when people make changes that are going to affect the long term value/integrigy of the cars. In 20 years a correct 80s car will be a lot more desirable than one that has been "improved" by the PO.

I put this up there with adding one of those giant stars to your grille. I wanted to find a W123 that had been monster trucked but I couldn't find it. I know I have seen it on the web before.

Pink Benz

I once saw a 300D painted pink in Berkeley. Any benz that is painted an oddball color is what I consider defacing!

Someone posted a photo of a moster truck 300TD awhile back. I couldn't find it in a search. I thought it looked pretty stupid. And who is going to take a Mercedes 4 wheeling?

I would....if I had a spare W116 interior and a spare 4Wd truck with a scrap body I would build one.....I'd love to have a W116 4WD.
