thats a 3600 rpm gen head.. the benz engine probably wont last long.. you can probably get away with setting up a belt system where its a 1:2 system.. or just fess up and get a lister now those are bullet proof diesel engines

They'll have to go back to small wheels, to use wide whitewalls. Wouldn't small wheels give a softer ride, where large wheels give better high speed handling? The whitewalls look pretty good on this baby: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4601072449 ( what do you think a car like that is worth?? ) Years back, a carpenter down here had a source of all the last old growth Mahogany timber on Key Largo. He built this stunning sailing vessel that looked like a pirate ship, out of these huge thick planks. He took me sailing and I was amazed by his one lung diesel... and how slow the thing could turn. He started making runs to the Bahamas, bringing them frozen beef. His boat eventually got caught in a storm and sunk. |
