Ignition switch not working
I did a valve adjustment over the weekend and after I got it all put back together, went for a test drive, came back, parked the car, and the ignition switch did not kill the engine (like there was no ig switch). At first the kill switch would not do it either, but eventually did (after 5-10 min). Is there some connection there? The car is an 84 300 d turbo. I've gone back and looked there don't seem to be any unconnected lines.
THanks, |

got it working
Thanks Diesel Giant. found a rod that came off the valve on the back of the IP. Ooops. bumped it while adjusting the valves. Back in the saddle again.
