I had NO idea of the value

I have a set of these sitting in my storage since 1998 with a better set of MXV Pilot tires on them. I figured I'd only get $500 on ebay so I have just been keeping them around. Guess I better increase my homeowners insurance

Sell! Sell!

I remember when a dude was trying to buy a domain name from me.
He eventually got up to $10,000.
"I just want it so my wife can create a kid's charity with it."

I was able to look into him a bit and discovered that
he was involved with the video game industry,
which makes more money than major motion pictures,
without having to pay any actors!

Anyway, I turned him down.
Shortly thereafter, the dot com bubble burst.
Wish I had sold.

Sell!

Lorinsor's = lots of $$$. They are a very expensive wheel, to bad they are ugly Chrome. They look nice however, even with cheap tires.

Thumbs up

I like how those look, I'm waiting for a steal on some 15" version of the ones on my SD. I've seen a 14" version of the '86+ wheel too...

well i got them, drove up to van nuys and picked them up paid a little more than i preferred, i too could do without the chrome i have seen thim in a non chreome version.
i put them on my euro 500SEL, the car drives like a whole different machine. amazing handling and smooth ride. i think it is the propler offset and the width of the tires that compleates it, i will post some pictures today, i am in the process of replacing the water pump, timing chain, all the tensioners and rails. i was amazed when i pulled the valve covers, everything looked like new.pretty good for 144K miles.
i thought it would be a good idea to replace the chain ant other related items because i would get a rattle on once in a while during cold start. better safe than sorry.

They are an awesome looking wheel, and very "correct" looking for the w126's. Personally I would only have them in chrome. I am surprised what you paid, but also, very glad to see their value. I will probably take off the 17's Lorinser's I have on my 300SDL currently and put the 16's back on, I like the look better.

That is one dank ride. I didn't know any of the 126's had the side marker lights.
