Damn someone cut the end of my intake off and put a different piece of pipe on there. Where do I bolt my egr's now?!!!

Guess mine must have been a EGR-less model

And what the heck is this shiney aluminium thing under my hood..it gets hot when I drive fast. wtf?

yeah its really bizarre..all my others are healthy. They musta eat my 3/2 valves too..all i see is some crumbs.

my egr was stolen... BEFORE IT EVEN EXISTED!!! must've been while the mercedes factory had that rodent problem, they ate all the egr valves before they could be installed, but the rodents were eliminated in the early 80s!!
btw, while on the talk of performance related subjects, i need to ask how the odd rubber cap thing on my ALDA comes off, or is the tweak internal?? i can see a small cap on top rubber inside, and metal around the outside, hows it work??

peel the metal cylinder off with a set of needle nose pliers and adjust away ive got mine adjusted all the way out

once you peal it off use a wrench to loosen the lock nut and use only your fingertips on a screwdrive so you don't force it....force it and you break it.
