25 Years ago I we used to live in town. The neighbors cat used to sleep on the roof of the 300d. It used to wake up and climb down across the back guard when I started it. one day as it moving across the back guard, I turned the radio on. You should have seen the look on its face as the aerial went up.

I would say just keep a 5 gallon bucket in your garage 2/3 full of water with sunflowers seeds sprinkled on top. They find this irresistible and they'll come out of their cozy nest to get at it. Give it 2-3 days and you'll be fishing them out if they are in there hiding. You might even get a chipmunk once in a while.

The PO of my 81 let the car sit winters and some longtoothed rodent chewed through the headliner above the rear seat and stashed his nuts up there! I have yet to repair the hole or get all the nuts out

Aside from cat footprints on the hood of my TD, I have no animal problems - especially rodents!

I hate workin on rodent cars at work..... nasty. We used to have Norway rats get into stuff in our shop till we opened the hoods but still places they like.
My malibu wagon drag car has low exhaust. Dual 3" with two chamber flowmasters that incidentally make a nice mouse condo. Last time I fired it up I gave the throttle a swat and evicted them. They liked our nova's open headers too. The 115 octane race gas fumigates them well!

Skippy~ As for perception: Drive what you like and can afford. Those who don't like it can supply vacuum to one of your components. LOL

If you need parts, I have some!

Just noted that in mine - chewed up paper towels, but no rodents. Guess they got scared out after I ran the engine once!
