Garage Available for Moonlighting Mechanics, outside Manchester, NH

I recently purchased a small industrial condominium to house my office and in the back was a 25 X 35 drive in bay with a 10 X 10 overhead door. I installed a brand new 10,000# Rotary Lift, 5HP Rotary Screw Air Compressor and a basic assortment of tools and can make the space available to EXPERIENCED mechanics who want to use it hourly or by the day to do side work. The rate is $15/Hr or $120 for 12 hour day to cover my costs.

The unit is in Bedford NH, off of the FE Everett Turnpike just south of Manchester and a little more than an hour north of Boston. It can be used 24/7 so weekends and evenings are OK.

I also have an independent tech who uses the space with MB experience (gas and diesel) who will work on cars at very reasonable rates for those looking for a break on repairs.

If you're interested in either offer contact me directly by PM or Email at info@minoxdoc.com

Indeed, it is heated and is, for all intents and purposes a complete service garage. I have always wanted to build a bay for my own use and found a way to convince my wife to let me do it. Hopefully I can let others use it too and everyone benefits.

Sadly, our lawyer has a no drinking clause in the agreement that all users must sign, so this is a "dry" shop. Given the legal liabilities of opening a garage with a lift up for rent like this and given the litigious nature of our society today it's the only way it can work. It's sad that the one thing that kept me from doing this sooner is the fear of being sued so I had to pay a lawyer to structure the whole operation around elimination of my liability. The place is "used at the user's risk" and keeping it dry is one way to reduce the possibilities of a lawsuit...like I said, it's the way of our world.

Glad to see you've got a nice shop going. Care to take some pictures or something for us?

Renting it out should also eventually help pay for the space (which is nice)

Just be sure to keep it well protected. Unfortunately you will deal with not so honest people someday and they'll see nice stuff and want it. Our garage stays very locked and any of my friends that visit my dad's friend's shops all have to understand they can't talk about what is in those shops...varying from nascar race cars to antiques to millions in machinery/parts etc.

Its a fun little corner of Oregon

I promised some photos of my new garage...here they are. Sorry it took so long...I've been working hard lately to help pay for this place. And, yes that is my E300 up in the air!

very nice. Hopefully someone will take you up on that soon. IMHO, that's a pretty fair price you are asking. Good luck!
