Is this a bus or a van?
I'm not sure how I would describe this diesel Mercedes. It's larger than a Sprinter, but only has a 4-cylinder diesel.
http://www.unimogcanada.com/clearance_full.php?id=73 Would it be capable of doing the speed limit? It looks like a great platform for a home-made motorhome. I can also envision a band using it to travel between gigs. Does anyone know more about the 4-cylinder engine in these? Would it be a 601? |

If its already in North America, I have serious thoughts about importing one here.

That`s a 508 and if you have a 601 motor in it you are not going to get any speeding tickets!Your right arm is going to double in size from all the downshifting. They turn those into motorhomes over here in Europe and they are really nice and keep thier value year after year, good investment over here.Simple and reliable and HEAVYDUTY, but slow.As they say "it`s the trip not the destination thats the best" I`d buy it in a second if it was back here in Europe.
