Well my 76 300D still isn't running. Thanks to some of you though I've gotten really close. I finally finished assembling the car (Had some headwork done) and tried starting it. Nothing. After some diagnoses we figured the IP timing was off. So I took off the IP and retimed it (I hope). Here is my problem.

I actually took the pump out twice. The first time the way I had stuck it in, with out bending the lines the timing ended up extremely retarded, about 30 degrees retarted (it was angled way away from the engine). So I took it out and made the adjustments so I could put it back in with out having to bend the lines a lot, yet leaving enough room that I would be able to retard it if need be.

The first time I timed it I had no problem getting fuel out of the #1 port . For some reason this time I can not get fuel to come out (hence I can't tell if I've timed it correctly) I checked all of the other ports and when I crank it over they all spurt fuel. Just not the #1.

I've been working with Brandon over the phone but we can't figure it out. He is going to scoot on over here tonight (and man does he scoot-that SD flies) but I figured I might try and get some possible answers and things to try before he comes over, as it will be late, dark, and raining, and we will not want to work to long on it.
