Is a "Phon" a decibel?

He sure rolls is R's ...more so than I remember rolling mine. And his pronounciation of Citroen was different than I am used to too.

Cool Video! No wonder my grandfather always dreamed of getting a Diesel...he must have watched that report.

To the average ear 3dB is just a noticeable increase
10dB is twice as loud

140dB 30m (at the side of the runway) from a military aircraft at take off!
130dB Pneumatic drill at the operator's position
120dB Ships engine room at full speed
Peak level in bunker at PLASA was 126dB
Very Noisy
110dB Automatic Punch Press at the operator's position
Average Nightclub level playing mainstream dance music

100dB Platform of Underground station at rush hour with a train arriving/leaving
90dB Heavy lorries at 6m distance. Health and Safety upper limit for noise in an average working day
Noisy
80dB Kerbside of busy street
70dB Loud radio in average domestic room
60dB Restaurant/Department Store
Quiet
50dB Conversational speech at 1m. General Office noise
40dB Residential area at night. Whispered conversation at 1m
Very Quiet
<30dB Background in TV and recording studios

I think the reading they took in the 300D was at 92 MPH. I don't see how a 300D running flat out, or at any speed, is quieter than a Civic.
I'll eventually test my cars.

Is it too long for YT or too big of a file? If it's the size of the file that is the problem, a WMV can be converted to the much smaller DIVX format.

Just out of curiosity, how large is the file?
