Yep, thats a picture of a strainer coated with fungus.

Treat the infected fuel with Biobor, filter it thru a fine cloth and put it back into your fuel tank. The fungicide in the fuel will kill the remainder of fungus in the system. Carry a few extra fuel filters with you and be prepared to replace the filters as they might plug until all the dead fungus is filtered out of the system.

Retreat the system with Biobor at your next fillup.

Somehow, "Born to be wild" just does not fit the diesel owner image .

Well yeah pretty much! Or I like to compare mine to a wood boat.

But one day, ONE DAY I will have everything fixed!!!

Good luck with it at least with these cars parts are pretty cheap and easy to get. People like to bash the dealers but they can get pretty much anything on that car overnight. So if you need a bolt or something right now they are hard to beat.

has anyone ever tried steamcleaning their fueltank whilst it's still in the car? with the radio on?
