12 MM Power Steering Return Hose
While under my car, I noticed some fliud leaking, and upon further investigation, I se my Power Steering return line is seeping. Looks like the hose has rotted out. I flushed it 2 weeks ago, so I have been keeping an eye on the fluid. Looks low, so I checked out the hose, yup, indeed leakin.
My question. The hose ID is 12MM, all of the McParts Carry SAE hose sizes. Has anyone found a size of SAE hose that fits and works without leaking, or should I bite the bullet and buy the 'proper' 12 MM hose from Fastlane/Dealer etc.

I bet you could probably find one of a junkyard car and that would be cheaper than new.

And how would a 20 year old hose from a junked 300D be any better then the one he currantly has?
Anyway you just need some good hydrolic line thats about it. I got mine from Fastlane when I needed it because I was already ordering other stuff.

I may just order one from Phil. Car is out of Commission as the RTV dries on my "EGR Experiment" (Thanks Mr Carlton)! So the Marauder got to go outside today.

I too am frugal but unless it's a dire emergency, belts/hoses I buy new. I think I picked up one meter of PS line for both my cars for around $15? Correct stuff.
