If you have a 5 cyl. do remove the injector lines. It makes all the difference.

Yeah that must have been the problem. I did use propane. They were dang hot to the touch but they broke right off at the head. For the bigger collar thing, I just used a crescent wrench braced against the nearest cam tower. I think cylinder number five might have been slightly harder but it was still easy. I still vote for save your $$$, unless you want to make your own.
